i'm here : NOTE : 23AW Washer t-shirts

Note: 23AW is a crumpled up sketch.

Note: This T-shirt is made using the same mold as the previous one, but features shape-memory catch washer pleats and printing.
It is made of jersey jersey material made from washi paper and polyester, and is characterized by the crisp, cool feel that is unique to washi paper.

This one-page sketch features six black-and-white and two color photographs of unidentified people.
These are portrait photographs that I bought at the flea market I visited almost every week when I was a student in Paris 13 years ago, and kept them pasted to my notepad with duct tape.

Thinking that looking back through my old idea notebooks would provide clues for creating the 23AW collection, I dug up some photos and faithfully sketched their appearances with my own hands.

In order to find the reason why it has remained throughout this long period of time and the important (1) part that should be created anew for the 23AW collection, I followed the keywords of paper, page, and notebook, and the following scene came to mind.

I crumple up the paper sketch and throw it in the trash.
Then, when I suddenly remember it, I pick it up again and open the pages.
There was a sketch with wrinkles on it. Based on this image, I decided to process the catch washer.

From this item, you may be able to read the intention, background, and traces of the design of the 23AW collection. It is an item that makes you imagine the starting line of the collection production.
