A grandpa coat for spring and summer made from a double-weave material with silk nep on the front and cotton on the back.

The melange-colored silk nep yarn is woven into the surface, giving it a rich, nuanced color and texture. It is made to maintain a three-dimensional silhouette, and is lightweight, making it an item that you can wear easily.

The liner is made of a cool-to-the-touch material, making it comfortable to wear.

My grandfather was a tailor and craftsman at Shimase Clothing Store.

I had one coat left that looked really nice.

This overcoat was carefully tailored by my late grandfather 50 years ago.

We have taken a fresh look at this very important piece of clothing, reinterpreted it in our own way, and reconstructed it for the modern era: the Grandpa Coat.

Every detail has been faithfully sampled, from the collar, pockets, interior design, stitching, and buffalo buttons, and combined with the brand's signature three-dimensional, airy, voluminous cutting.

What I learned from the coats my grandfather made.

It is a very careful handicraft.

We carefully reexamined this coat left behind by our grandfather and incorporated a modern silhouette to create a coat that is new yet somehow nostalgic.
